Welcome to NorthSouth GIS

NorthSouth GIS LLC was founded in 2005 as a joint USA and New Zealand effort, hence our name, and is now a leading Geographic Information Systems (GIS) consulting firm in Los Angeles. The company is also fast becoming a significant player in the rest of the United States. The company is a member of the NorthSouth GIS Group, which is a significant international member of the Esri Partner Network community, having been one of the first companies to achieve Esri’s Gold Tier Business Partner status. The Group has additional offices in New Zealand and India, and is active in a dozen countries.

GIS, at its simplest, refers to "maps on computers". But our work is much more than that. We integrate information from various sources and deliver it via a "spatial view" to achieve specific business goals. We have helped organizations to provide on-line public access to detailed government information; to manage road, engineering, water and wastewater infrastructure; to manage invasive species of animals such as possums, and of plants such as gorse; and to produce plans for land management and district planning purposes. We think of ourselves as Geospatial System Integrators.

Our slogan is Innovation Through Integration, which translates in two ways: we develop innovative solutions by integrating our team and ideas with those of our clients and we deliver innovative positioning for clients by increasing their ability to make good decisions more quickly through using GIS technology as a tool for integration.
